the owner is so friendly and the food was amazing. selleongtang has deep yet clean soup. soondae was moist and yummy. thank you for an amazing meal!

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this place. They have the best oxtail soup in the area and we always order it with either jokbal and/or seafood pancake. Last time we spoke with the only male server/staff (our favorite and always provides the best service) and learned that it was stewed for (?I think he said) 8+ hrs or something along those lines. They also have the best side dishes, as my boyfriend loves their cabbage kimchi. However, we wouldn’t recommend ordering the galbi as it is relatively tough and tastes like it was cooked in a pan rather than a grill. We tried some of their other soup dishes but weren’t too big a fan of those either. Usually the place is pretty cozy but sometimes they do host large parties, where it can get pretty rowdy. Definitely a hidden gem we visit pretty frequently.

We visited Seoul Ttukbaegi on a freezing day looking for comforting Korean bone broth soups, and it completely hit the spot. The doganitang was deeply flavorful and soothing, with the kind of richness you expect from longtime, well-loved soup houses. Portions were generous, served in large ttukbaegis that stayed piping hot. The bossam was excellent — tender pork with crisp, ice-cold radish salad topped with fresh oysters, wrapped in napa leaves for a great balance of textures and temperatures. The sundae was fresh and well-seasoned as well. A place that truly delivers warmth and comfort, both in the food and the experience. Highly recommend.

Hands down, this place is awesome. I can't tell if it’s a hole-in-the-wall spot or not, but the menu is stacked with delicious Korean stews and soups. The restaurant is semi-small, but even during lunch we were seated right away. I ordered the blood sausage soup and the seafood pancake—everything tasted like something your grandma would cook. Even the side dishes were fire. The service was amazing, too. I definitely need to stop by again before I leave!
